INGE
Inge began studying yoga in 1971. In 1994 she added to her experience working with multiple disciplines of yoga by focusing on Iyengar yoga. Training with senior yoga instructors, she completed her certification with a month-long training retreat with Gita Iyengar at the Iyengar institute in Pune, India. Further, in 2013 she added fascia training to her expertise - utilizing recent scientific findings in the field of movement, sports and rehabilitation to her practice. Adding in the four components of fascia training (rebounding, dynamic stretching, roll massage and kinesthetic awareness) has allowed her to enhances the benefits of yoga for her class participants.

​Having taught at churches, health centers, senior centers, and privately owned studios - she has a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about providing each participant's of all levels with personalized experiences
that are both ​nurturing, health-giving, and challenging. Her German roots lend a quiet, contemplative quality to her practice, yet every session is filled with a calm intensity that demonstrates her expertise. Intentional and methodical, she provides a highly structured approach to each pose, often emphasizing alignment, subtle adjustments, and body mechanics. Her attention to detail shines, especially in sports and rehabilitation yoga, where she tailors poses to address individual needs, enabling students to heal, strengthen, and move mindfully.

FRED
After retiring from Georgia Southern University 23 years ago, he began his lifelong journey practicing and teaching Iyengar yoga. Grounded in this practice, his style focuses on both the physical experience of the poses and a calmness of the mind.
As an instructor, Fred is able to strike a balance between informality and focus, bringing a relaxed, down-to-earth style to each class. He encourages students to explore their own limits and embrace their unique journey, whether they’re beginners or experienced yogis. Humor and light-heartedness are woven into his classes, often sharing relatable anecdotes or light jokes to ease the atmosphere.
While he guides the class with a strong sense of purpose, he is also amazing at emphasizing that every student is in charge of their own experience, offering modifications and alternative poses to accommodate varying abilities and energy levels. Students in Fred's classes are empowered to listen to their bodies, try new things, and move at their own pace, all while maintaining a grounded commitment to the principles of yoga.

BRI
A strong wellness advocate, Brianna brings a youthful, enthusiastic, and centered energy to all her sessions - blending movement, mindfulness, and community for holistic healing. She founded Zen'Ergy in 2019 and has been a guest instructor at the Mind Body Center since 2024.

Her classes are dedicated to creating space for anyone - beginner to seasoned yogis - a place to recharge and reconnect. Her classes encourage a journey of self-discovery, filled with vibrant energy and grounded, intentional guidance. To enhance the yoga experience, she also utilizes sound baths. These transformative elements foster balance and self-healing beyond the mat.
This multidimensional approach empowers participants to cultivate inner peace, clarity of purpose, and positivity in their lives. Whether in a lively group setting or a reflective personal practice, Brianna is dedicated to guiding others toward a harmonious, joyful, & balanced life.

Cheryl
Cheryl has been practicing the Iyengar tradition of yoga for over 20 years, drawing deeply from her personal and professional experiences to shape her teaching philosophy. Her love for Iyengar yoga is rooted in the belief that yoga should be adaptable and accessible to all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.
Cheryl’s own journey with yoga has been transformative, serving as a vital part of her recovery from illness and injuries. This personal connection fuels her passion for making yoga a tool for healing and empowerment.
In addition to her yoga practice, Cheryl has an extensive background in healthcare and nursing, where she honed her skills in providing compassionate care. Her work with veterans further reflects her dedication to helping individuals navigate physical and emotional challenges. These experiences enrich her teaching approach, enabling her to bring a unique blend of empathy, precision, and adaptability to her classes.

Having learned teaching practices from the renowned Iyengar instructor Inge Spencer, Cheryl infuses her sessions with infectious enthusiasm and a deep commitment to fostering growth.
